FSA Field Data & Custom Blend Naming

FSA Field Data & Custom Blend Naming

At Agworld, we remain focused on helping growers capture more meaningful data and improve how it’s used across reporting and planning. We’re pleased to share two new updates that enhance how US customers manage FSA (Farm Service Agency) information and improve clarity when working with custom blends.

Capture & Report on FSA Field Information

US users can now record FSA Farm, Tract, and Field (CLU) numbers directly against their field boundaries, making it easier to align operational data with official USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) records.

What’s included:

Manual FSA Data Entry - You can now add FSA Farm, Tract, and Field numbers directly to each field boundary within Agworld. This ensures your field data is consistent with FSA documentation and simplifies record keeping.

FSA Data in Custom Reports - FSA information can now be included in custom reports, allowing you to group and analyse your data using official FSA identifiers.

How to use FSA data in reports
  1. Go to Reporting → Custom Reports
  2. Click New Report
  3. Select Activities or Benchmarking under Report Sections
  4. In How do you want to group the data, choose from:
    • FSA Farm Number List
    • FSA Tract Number List
    • FSA Field Number List (CLU)

FSA values will appear in their own columns, with multiple entries separated by a slash, making them easy to read and export.

Custom Blend Naming for Better Clarity

Managing fertilizer and chemical blends just got more intuitive with the ability to assign custom names to your blends.

What’s new:
  • User-defined blend names When creating a custom blend, you can now give it a name that makes sense for your operation. This name will appear everywhere the blend is used, including Activities, Plans, and Reports, improving clarity across your workflows.
  • Guaranteed analysis still available The guaranteed analysis values are still stored and visible within the blend details. If no custom name is entered, these values will continue to be used as the default label.
  • Consistent experience for existing blends Existing blends without a custom name will continue to display their guaranteed analysis as before. To maintain data consistency, custom blend names cannot be edited once created.

Bringing more context to your data

Together, these updates give you greater control over how your data is captured, labelled, and reported:

  • Align field records with FSA requirements
  • Improve reporting accuracy with FSA-based grouping
  • Make blends easier to identify with clear, user-defined names

As always, we’ll continue working with our partners and customers to deliver improvements that make farm data more useful and easier to manage every day.
