At Agworld, we believe in making the right information visible and accessible to the on-farm decision-makers and operators, so you don’t have to dig through large amounts of data to find the information you’re looking for. The agronomic snapshot feature in Agworld has been designed to do just that, and shows you key agronomic details such as crop and variety, area, nutrition, pests and problems observed, rainfall and more.
As part of a recent improvement released by Agworld’s development team, additional field information entered under the ‘advanced options’ of a field, is now visible in the agronomic snapshot on the Agworld website and mobile apps. This enhancement makes it easier for your team to view field information that is relevant to their operations. Some good examples of this are setting up row spacing on sprayers, or having more context to analyse field performance and making crop-management decisions.
When creating or editing a field on the Agworld website, users can click ‘Advanced Options’ to fill out the following information:
- Field description
- Irrigation
- Cropping method
- Row spacing
- Planting date
- Plant spacing
- Planting depth
If this information has been filled out, it will now show up in the field’s agronomic snapshot. Just make sure to sync your mobile devices after you make changes on the Agworld website. Note that most of this information is field-specific, not season-specific, so it’s a good idea to update the field information when you enter a new season.
