Say 'hello' to Bruce, our very own Agworld AI Agent! We know that a lot of you have already interacted with Bruce through the chat bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of the Agworld app and on the Agworld website, and we can tell from the 'problem resolution rate' that Bruce is doing a great job! Up until recently AI Agents used to be at best a novelty, and more likely a waste of time before you could speak to a 'real' person. Advances in AI technology means that we now have access to an excellent AI Agent that can help you find a lot of information about Agworld very quickly.
What is Bruce's area of expertise?
Bruce does not have access to the data in your account, but it does have access to all training material and all other content on our website. So, instead of having to dig through lots of pages of help articles, ask Bruce your question and chances are you'll be pointed to the right page immediately.
The Agworld platform has a lot of different features and functionality, and very few customers use every single one of these features to the fullest extent. If you're wondering if Agworld has a specific feature or 'way to do something a bit different', you can still call our Customer Success team - and our industry-renowned service will remain free and unlimited. However, depending on the question you have, it might now be quicker to first 'have a chat' with Bruce, who might be able to get you an answer in seconds.
What kind of questions should I ask Bruce?
You can ask Bruce anything you like, but here are the kinds of questions Bruce is best at:
- “How do I create a work order from a recommendation?”
- “Where do I find subscription pricing info?”
- “What's the difference between X and Y in Agworld?”
- “Do you have any customer examples of how teams use Agworld for planning?”
- “How do I export / import prescriptions?” (and similar workflow how-to's)
Whereas questions like: “What did we apply on Field 7 last Tuesday?” Bruce won't be able to answer, as Bruce does not have access to your Agworld data.
We love the idea of an AI that magically knows everything… but we're not pretending that exists. As one of our recent Agworld posts put it: “if you're waiting for a “magical AI chatbot” that tells you exactly what to do, you'll be waiting a long time.”
Bruce is designed to stay grounded in the content it's trained on but like any AI, it can occasionally misunderstand a question or miss context. The fix is usually simple: ask it again with a bit more detail, or click through to the source it references.
And, don't forget to let Bruce know whether the answer provided helped you or not! This is all part of Bruce's training, and really helps his AI brain figure out how to answer the next question even better.
What about having an AI Agent help me with the data in my Agworld account?
Bruce is great for how-to and where-to-Bruced questions, but if you need anything involving:
- Your specific account setup
- Troubleshooting a specific issue
- Anything that requires looking at what's happening inside your workspace
…that's when a human on our team is the right next step.
I can definitely see another AI Agent in Agworld's future that can help you answer questions in the context of your Agworld data, but that's currently in the hands of our development team and a story for another day.
