The Agworld platform will be rolled-out across ‘G-Mac’s Country’ ahead of the 2021 cropping season.
G-Mac’s AgTeam, one of the largest independently owned crop input retailers in North America with 13 retail locations and one fertilizer distribution facility across Saskatchewan, has chosen the Agworld Platform to power their agronomy service offering and help digitally strengthen collaborative partnerships with growers. G-Mac’s AgTeam has long focused on helping growers maximize their production and profitability in a sustainable manner; the new partnership with Agworld enables G-Mac’s AgTeam to assist growers in becoming even more successful in these areas.
“When we started our selection process for a data platform to power our agronomic operations, we knew that adopting a collaborative system to enrich the partnerships with our growers would be key” says Bryden Templeton, G-Mac’s AgTeam Manager of Ag Innovation. “It’s exciting for our team to now have access to all the tools on the Agworld Platform which will allow us to create plans, budgets and recommendations together with growers. This Agworld platform will fit nicely with our iFarm platform and specifically our new programs like CrOptics and SoilConnect, to help our growers become even more successful through increased visibility into their farm data.”
G-Mac’s AgTeam Manager of Agronomy, Jeremy German adds: “G-Mac’s AgTeam has been established on the principles of enhancing our customer’s agronomic knowledge and adding value to the overall production. I can already see that Agworld will help us ensure that we keep earning the respect and trust of our growers on a daily basis. Our relationships with our growers are the most important part of our business, and it’s great to see these relationships strengthened even further through a collaborative digital platform.”
Agworld President North America Zach Sheely comments: “It’s great to have G-Mac’s AgTeam join the Agworld platform and we look forward to working closely with the team throughout the implementation process. The Agworld platform has a great fit in the Canadian agricultural industry and especially with a successful organization like G-Mac’s AgTeam that focuses on providing premium agronomic services to their growers. Agworld’s strength lies in the collaborative nature of the platform and the structured data that underpins it; both these features are key for anyone that aims to help growers optimize their production and profitability, which is why I’m confident that G-Mac’s AgTeam’s growers will be benefiting a lot from this decision by the company’s leadership team.”
