Agworld - John Deere integration: driving success in the field

Agworld - John Deere integration: driving success in the field

At Agworld we know that farming success relies on having the right tools to get the job done. That's why our integration with John Deere Operations Center combines the best of both worlds: Agworld's standardized records, financials and reporting, and John Deere's live, in-field job insights. Together, these platforms simplify the managing of day-to-day farm operations

Improved workflow across platforms

Instead of constantly switching between systems or relying on one over the other, the Agworld - John Deere integration lets you use both together to get a complete picture of your farm activities. Recent improvements of this integration make it even easier to track a job from planning through to completion, letting key information transfer seamlessly between platforms with less manual work needed from you.

Plans, recommendations, observations, and work orders created in Agworld now flow directly into John Deere Work Planner, appearing as tank mixes in your machines. When operators enter the field, the job is visible on the in-cab display; once completed, the activity automatically syncs back into Agworld as an 'Actual'. This simple process reduces duplication, saves time, and improves data accuracy.

Feedback from growers in the field

Because this improved workflow has been in beta-testing for the past couple of months, I've had the opportunity to work closely with growers to make sure it performs where it matters most: in the field.

Bundaberg Sugar, for example, has four farm managers across different regions. Operations Manager Ben Revell says the integration has been a big step forward: “It's cleaned up our records and gives us much more comprehensive and accurate data. I've also noticed that it has even helped our tractor operators, they often come into the office now to see how their data is entering the system.”

Perth-based Farming Management Services Western Australia (FMSWA) has also seen major benefits. Velyere Farm Manager, Peter Rathjen, explains: “Being able to send our agronomist's recommendations straight from Agworld to the machines via the John Deere Operations Centre and then the completed jobs syncing back into Agworld as actuals is a game-changer, all information is automatically there. You can edit if you need to, but most of the time, you don't need to. You just hit 'accept' and you're done.”

Building better tools together

We love field-testing what our engineering team works on and every piece of feedback we receive is passed directly to our development team, helping us refine the product to deliver even more value to our users.
